Hello! 

I'm Ms. Burney your new Media Specialist.

I have worked for Guilford County Schools for 15 years as an elementary Media Specialist. (Alderman, Cone & Shadybrook)

Originally from Buffalo, New York and raised in Hyde Park, Ma.. I'm also a graduate of the Newton Public School system, Dillard University B.A, History , North Carolina Central University, Masters of Library Science.

I live with my Adult son that has High Functioning Autism, my daughter and Maxwell the yorkie dog.

My favorite books are: Island of the Blue Dolphins,and Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry.

I'm exicted to be a part of the Hornet Hive, and look forward assisting students, staff, and the community.
